Phi Program

In the past couple years our national organization released a new, new member education process, the Phi Program. This is to ensure that all members of our organization on a national level are learning the same things and to shorten the amount of time between accepting a bid and being initatied a sister of Phi Sigma Sigma. The program functions on a 6 week process. Each week the new members will meet to go over new information with our Sister Development Chair and review previous material. On top of learning new material, there is also some fun perks that come with being a new member!

  • Bid Day! New members recieve their RoseBud! Their RoseBud serves as their mentor until they are given a Sapphire sister.

  • Week 1: Pinning! The new members participate in an open ritual pinning ceremony. Friends and familes are invited to come and watch as the new members take one of their first steps to being a Phi Sigma Sigma sister!

  • Week 3: Sapphire Sister Reveal! This week new members will recieve surprises from their Sapphire Sister, leading up to the reveal of finding out who their Sapphire Sister is. A Sapphire Sister is also known as a Big or Little, they are their to mentor their Sapphire Sister throughout their membership in the organization!

  • Week 6: Week of the Sphinx! This week, the whole chapter particiaptes in different rituals and spends time connecting as a whole chapter before the new members are initated at the end of that week!

  • Initation! This is the final step for new members. Upon the completion of initiation, new members are now active members and are beginning their journeys as Phi Sigma Sigmas!
